This stunning 4 bedroom villa has fantastic views over the surrounding countryside. Even Mount Pantokrator - Corfu's highest point - can be seen from the east side! If that's not enough, you'll also have your own large private pool and spacious high quality interior. Plus, Villa Buket is well positioned for anyone wanting to see more of what the north of the island has to offer, and the beach and amenities of Avlaki are easily reached by car. WiFi and air conditioning/heating in the bedrooms are included.

Villa description 

Swimming pool, garden and BBQ area

From the spacious veranda, 5 steps lead to the paved pool area and lawned garden which has stunning views across Corfu's lush green countryside. There is ample space to sunbathe and soak up this spectacular setting. The veranda also provides shade for the exterior dining area, complimented by the brick BBQ.

Entrance

Traditional wrought iron gates open onto a private parking area with the front door at the side of the villa.

Living space

The living space is open plan with a high ceiling, overlooked by the gallery landing on the first floor. There are comfortable sofas and a widescreen flat TV above the ornamental fireplace, a dining table and chairs, and large patio doors along one wall framing the views over the pool terrace to the rolling countryside beyond. At the far end is the fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons to make interior dining easy, and an adjacent utility room housing the washing machine.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

There is a twin bedroom with adjacent shower room on the ground floor. The remaining bedrooms are on the first floor. There is a second twin bedroom with an en suite shower room and private balcony. Both double bedrooms have an en suite bathroom and share a large shaded balcony which runs the length of the villa. Views from the East side of the villa stretch across to Mount Pantokrator, the highest point on the island.

Villa location 

On the outskirts of the small, traditional Greek village of Klimatia, Villa Buket has good links by car to the larger coastal resorts of Acharavi, Sidari, Barbati and Roda. The villas' secluded location provides a tranquil setting with traditional village life on your doorstep. Journey further inland, up into the mountains to explore many of the other traditional Corfiot villages as well as the highest point of the island. Or travel towards the coast and you will find some of the more lively resorts with a huge selection of shops, bars and restaurants as well as a choice of great beaches.

Local markets and shopping

The nearby resorts of Sidari and Acharavi have plenty of shops to browse. Or take the 45 minute drive into Corfu Town which has endless shopping opportunities!

Bars and restaurants

A large selection of bars and restaurants can be found approximately 25 minutes' drive away in the resorts of Barbati and Acharavi. The resort of Sidari is also easily accessible by car where a choice of Italian, Mexican or Chinese restaurants can be found.

Beaches

The pebbly beaches of Almiros and Acharavi are around 25 minutes' drive away, and the sandy beach at Sidari is around 40 minutes' away by car.

Family fun

Hydropolis is a small family waterpark in Acharavi while the larger Aqualand Waterpark is about 1 hour away by car.

Places of interest

There is plenty to see and do on the island including Acharavi's folklore museum and the Achilleon palace near to Corfu town which is the former summer residence of Empress Sissy of Austria.

Golf

The only golf course on the island is in Ermones, located in the centre of the island.

Other activities

For anyone wanting something more adventurous there are hiking trails up Corfu highest peak, Mount Pantokrator, and around the village of Old Perithea. The waterfalls of Nymphes at the beginning and end of the holiday season are also well worth a visit.
