With pleasant views over the cliffs of Navarone Bay from the poolside, Villa Kristina Rhodes is a great choice for a relaxing villa holiday. This delightful 3 bedroom house has a choice of restaurants, shops, beaches and attractions all close at hand. Lindos Village is a little over a mile away, easily reached by car or local bus, as well as on foot. The villa itself is bright and airy, and includes WiFi and air conditioning/heating in the lounge and bedrooms.

Villa description 

Swimming pool and BBQ area

Relaxing outside, by the private swimming pool, you can enjoy fantastic views towards Navarone Bay. The garden and pool terrace is surrounded on both sides by exotic trees and flowers. The brick BBQ is to one side of the grounds and there is also a shaded dining area for eating alfresco.

Entrance

From the street, the gated driveway and 3 steps take you to the main entrance. There is also a pedestrian entrance. The pathway wraps around the house, leading to the private swimming pool at the rear.

Living space

The lounge is spacious and bright, furnished with comfortable seating and a flat screen TV, with patio doors opening out onto the colourful garden and pool terrace. An archway joins the lounge to the fully-equipped kitchen which has plenty of space, as well as a dining table and chairs. A door from the kitchen also opens onto the gardens, right by the BBQ and exterior dining area. There is a utility room on the ground floor which houses the washing machine, and is a great space for extra storage too.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

All 3 bedrooms are on the first floor of the villa. The 2 double bedrooms each have a private balcony overlooking the swimming pool towards Navarone Bay. The twin bedroom's balcony overlooks the front of the villa. All 3 bedrooms share a separate bathroom, and there is also a shower room on the ground floor.

This villa has applied to be licenced by the EOT Greek licensing association. The number will follow.

Villa location 

Villa Kristina Rhodes is situated very close to the main Lindos-Pefkos Road, although once within the villa grounds, you wouldn't know it. You'll have a bar and restaurant right on your doorstep, at the nearby Lindos Sun Hotel, but you can walk, drive or catch the local bus to the restaurants on offer in Lindos Village. Beach lovers are also well-catered for, with the beautiful Navarone Bay, St. Paul's Bay and Lee Beach all within a very short drive. The resort of Pefkos is also within easy reach. Villas Matina and Clive are next door.

Local markets and shopping

Lindos Village offers a wide choice of shops for every taste and budget. There is a large supermarket within a short drive, just before you reach Kalathos Village, whilst the markets in Rhodes Town, held every Wednesday and Saturday morning, offer fresh local produce.

Bars and restaurants

The small hotel along the road from Villa Kristina Rhodes has a bar and restaurant available to non-residents, if you want to dine out and leave the car at home. Otherwise, you can drive or catch the local bus into Lindos Village where there is a large choice of eating places on offer. Pefkos also has a number of cafes and bistros to enjoy.

Beaches

The beautiful Navarone Bay is the nearest beach to Villa Kristina Rhodes, around 5 minutes' drive away. Although St. Pauls Bay is only a little further and is a popular venue for wedding ceremonies throughout the summer season. Pefkos also has a few sandy bays on offer, Lee Beach being the main one, with boats available to hire.

Family fun

There are lots of enjoyable things to do nearby. Head towards Lardos for mini golf and go-karting facilities. Or, the waterpark in Faliraki makes a great family day out, around 50 minutes' drive north. A little closer to home is Waterland (inflatables at sea) at Tsambika Beach.

Places of interest

Lindos Acropolis is a must-see at some point during your stay, and can be reached either by foot or on a local donkey taxi. It dates back to 9th century BC and is steeped in history, with fantastic views of the local area. Or, venture to the south-west coast and visit Monolithos Castle, built in 1480 to protect the island from attacks. Access to the castle is by a staircase cut into the rock but it can also be viewed from the road side. The old town of Rhodes is contained within the city walls. it is a complex layout of approximately 200 streets. The Street of the Knights is one of the best preserved and most delightful medieval relics in the world!

Golf

Afandou Golf is the nearest course to the villa, around 45 minutes' drive north along the coast.

Other places of interest

Horse riding, sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving facilities are all available nearby.
