With stunning views over the picturesque village of Agios Stefanos, the nature reserve of Erimitis, the open sea and the mountains of Albania in the distance, this charming 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa is ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy a taste of authentic Corfu. Villa Kayra is only a 5 minute drive from the centre of this popular resort and a number of alternative resorts and beaches can all be easily reached by car. Air conditioning/heating in the bedrooms, WiFi and pool heating are all included.

Villa description 

Swimming pool and BBQ area

The BBQ and exterior dining terrace is covered and raised from the pool area to take maximum advantage of the view. The steps down to the pool are gated and there is plenty of space to bask in the sunshine providing the perfect setting to relax before a dip in the pool to cool off!

Entrance

This beautiful villa has wrought iron gates opening onto the private parking area in front of the house, lined with fruit trees and flowers. Access to the villa is via the first floor due to the hillside nature of the property.

Living area

From the entrance, there is a step into the well equipped kitchen which leads through to the dining area and lounge which both have patio doors allowing plenty of natural light in, framing the fantastic views towards the sea, and of course giving access to the pool terrace.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

A few steps from the hall lead down to 2 twin bedrooms and a double bedroom, which share a separate shower room and bathroom. The bedrooms on the left of the hall have spectacular views over the Greek coastline to the sea. The third twin bedroom has an en suite shower room and is accessed only from the pool terrace.

This villa has applied to be licenced by the EOT Greek licensing association. The number will follow.

Villa location 

From its hillside position, with the centre and bay of Agios Stefanos and facilities of the neighbouring resorts all within a short drive, Villa Kayra is perfect for anyone wanting excellent views and a convenient location. Overlooking the scenic resort of Agios Stefanos and close to a number of shops and places to eat, this delightful 4 bedroom villa is a superb base from which to explore the island. A number of superb pebble beaches, as well as the facilities of nearby Avlaki, Kassiopi and Kerasia, are all within a short drive and are well worth a visit.

Local markets and shops

Agios Stefanos has a choice of shops to browse and stock up on essentials to take back to your villa. Or venture into Kassiopi which has a larger selection of shops where you can buy souvenirs to take home, 10 minutes away by car.

Bars and restaurants

Agios Stefanos has a good selection of tavernas and small cafes along the sea front where one can watch the fishing boats come and go. Kassiopi also has a plethora of bars and tavernas.

Beaches

Agios Stefanos has a lovely shingle beach with tavernas overlooking the moored boats. Alternatively, the beautiful pebble beaches of Kerasia and Avalaki are only a couple of miles away and a choice of long sandy beaches are within 20 minutes by car.

Family fun

There is a choice of waterparks on the island, the nearest being in Acharavi, around 20 minutes' drive further around the coast to the West.

Places of interest

If you want to venture away from Agios Stefanos for a day trip, the resorts of Kassiopi, Avlaki, Kalami, Nissaki and Barbati can all be reached within a 20 minute drive. Corfu Town is around 50 minutes away and is well worth a visit - explore the plethora of shops, visit the old or new forts, or enjoy a meal by the harbour!

Golf

The islands' only golf course is in the Ropa Valley, on the West side of Corfu, around an hours' drive from Villa Kayra.

Other activities

Why not hire a boat for the day and explore the coastline or even catch a ride on the Nautlius boat for a sumptuous BBQ up the coast? A dingy/windsurfing school, boat trips and a horse riding centre are all nearby. This villa is in an Ideal location for those that like to take it easy and do very little or for the avid explorer there are some lovely walks nearby and you can explore further afield by boat or car.
